Scrap proposal to increase Ella planning area: Goa Forward

Huge buildings will be seen within 100 mtrs of 6 cathedrals in Old Goa as the TCP department has increased the planning area of Ella in Greater Panaji PDA, alleged Goa Forward Chief Vijai Sardesai on Sunday.

Vijai said that he had written to the UNESCO and International Council for Monuments and Sites seeking their intervention.

Vijai said TCP board meeting discussed this proposal to increase planning are of Ella on 20 November.

He said that he had raised this issue on 24 November. However, no government officials, TCP minister or the Greater Panaji PDA chairman had reacted to this.

He demanded that government withdraw this proposal on the occasion of St. Francis Xavier feast on 3^rd December. Listen.
