Chovoth likely to be a low key affair, CM

 Before taking any decision the members of Sarvajanik Ganesh would be taken into confidence, the Chief Minister said.

However, he made it clear that there is no decision yet on reopening of schools.

With the festive season approaching, people must take precautions while celebrating.

The positivity rate is fluctuating in the state and one or two deaths still being reported. The chovoth this year should be low key celebrations, Chief Minister said.

Last year the daily cases had jumped more than 500 during the festive season of Chovoth. 

Chief Minister said they are in process to give teachers and staff to give them second dose as soon as possible in a bid to restart the schools.
