NGO opposes govt stand on gambling tourism, to hold protest

It has warned that if they are not kept in check, the implementing agencies would not be able to control casino operators.

The NGO also questioned whether the government was thinking of promoting Goa through alcohol, gambling or availability of women. 

AAAAG alleged that casinos have funded casinos and political parties to fund legislations to legalise their activities.

AAAAG convenor Sabina Martins spoke about websites promoting the availability of Goan and other woman and action against them.

AAAAG also wanted all casino advertisement to to be removed. And they have also opposed the proposed shifting of casinos to land.
