Goa has attained 80 per cent blood donation: Health Secretary

He said the voluntary blood donation in Goa has reached 80 per cent. The Health Secretary was speaking to the media on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day on Friday in Panaji.

The program was organized by Goa State Aids Control Society and Goa State Blood Transfusion Council.

The Health Secretary also said the pao sellers will soon be brought under the Food Safety Act so as to get them registered under the FDA. He said a training programme will conducted for them.
