Fishing boat owners demand immediate repairs, extension to Vasco jetty

Goa Fishing Boat Owners Association has demanded immediate repairs of the Vasco Kharewado jetty and a temporary extension of the same.
They say they have 250 boats and at a time only 10 or 12 boats can dock at the jetty.
Boat owners say they find it difficult to unload fish.
On Wednesday, President of Goa Boat Owners Association Philip D'Souza to officials of the Mormugao Port Trust to the Kharewado jetty to show them the condition of the jetty and apprise them of the difficulties faced by the boat owners.
