Business in the name of Quarantine? NRIs question Govt

28 Jul 2020 06:16 PM

Around 25 NRI's who have returned Goa on 25th July at the Dabolim airport have raised serious concerns. On arrival their swab samples were collected and they were subsequently housed at a hotel in Colva. Now they have alleged that their passports have been taken with no proper facilities while they have been harassed.

These NRIs are obviously upset. Many of these people have returned as they were stranded abroad without job's for last several months, and have no money.

Instead of having the reports ready within 24 hours, the hotel has taken away their original passport's. And they are being charged.

Now former margao chairperson Savio Couthino has demanded that the concerned authorities should complete and deliver the test reports of  Goan NRI's within minimum possible time and save them from further financial burden.
