Road rage in Calangute: 5 men attack couple for overtaking

 It is yet to be ascertained whether they were drunk. Question is, If this isn’t  a case of absolute lawlessness, then what is. 

Police acted on a complaint filed by a Calangute local, Sameersab Bepari, closed to victims. Sam and Mary, from Khobravado overtook their car.

This petty issue turned gory after accused Vishwas Govekar  from Porbowado, Calangute, Tukaram Naik, from Asnora, Dipesh Naik of Naikawado, Calangute,  Rahul Dias resident Saligao and  Sitakant Zantye resident Bastora, Bardez attacked Sam and pillion driver Mary with fist blows, slaps and broken beer glass bottles causing them grevious injuries. 

An offence under section 143, 146,148,323, 326R/w 149 IPC has been registered.
