No trace of the kidnapper, kidnapped child

There is still no trace of the child kidnapped from grandfather’s Paan shop in Bicholim on Monday evening. The suspect is on the run. Bicholim Police have sent a team to Nagpur in search of the accused.

The parents of the 18-month old child have filed a complaint, that the child, Ahamad was lifted by a customer Bhagwan Das alias Abdulla, a native of Nagpur.

Abdulla had come to the stall to purchase paan.

He later started to play with the child and walked away with the child saying he would give him a chocolate but never returned. Police suspect the accused has fled to Nagpur
