Curchorem: Man murdered, chopped by wife & 3 accomplices

She is accused of killing her husband Baswraj on April 2nd.  The corpse was found chopped up in pieces and thrown deep in the jungles of Dudhsagar. 

According to the investigation, the deceased’s wife 31-year-old Kalpana Bassu Barki allegedly killed her husband by strangling him with a nylon rope in an apartment in the main Curchorem market.

Police say that the woman cut the body into pieces and stuffed them in empty rice bags and transported the remains in a jeep with an intention to destroy the evidence. The body was found dumped in the jungle at Dudhsagar.
