Chris Perry's flat in Fatorda fraudulently leased out

A flat belonging to legendary Goan musician late Chris Perry in Fatorda has been fraudulently leased out to a man from Karnataka.



The fraud was discovered by Chris Perry's son Glenn who has come down from abroad. Police have arrested the lessee and are on the lookout for the person who brokered the deal.


The lessee had already occupied the flat with his family when Glenn came there. He had paid 3,50,000 rupees for a five year lease.


Police have identified the lessee as Rafiq Anwarsahab Khatib from Karnataka. Rafiq is currently out on bail. Police are yet to trace Constancio Fernandes .
