Baga taxi drivers assault Goa Miles taxi driver

According to Calangute PI Jivba Dalvi, Goa Miles taxi driver Shamsuddin Kazi from Macazana in Salcete was restrained by two taxi drivers when he went to pick up a customer in a resort at Baga.

Six more joined them and Kazi was assaulted by all the eight 8 taxi drivers.

Besides registering an offence against all the eight taxi drivers, Calangute police have also written to the Directorate of transport to cancel taxi permits of the two taxi drivers who stopped him.
