Corona cases in Goa re on the rise. And it is spreading to all corners of the state, including the industrial sector. As of Sunday afternoon the death toll had reach 14, taking the tally to 5 in the past 48 hours.

A controversy erupted over the newly declared containment zone at Kharewado. Its residents gathered in large number demanding a realignment of the zone.

Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida has also demanded mass testing in the zone from his own government through the media. Deputy collector Sachin Desai has promised that people would be tested and also that an OPD would be set up.

The coronvirus graph in Salcette surging wildly. In Curtorim 3 new cases were found. In Cuncolim 4, Balli 4, and 1 new case in Lotolim.

The Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Sunday appealed to all recovered Covid 19 patients to come forth and help us save lives.

He reiterated that the Apheresis machine was being installed at GMC and the government was launching a plasma bank to treat Covid-19 with plasma therapy.

He also gave a guide on how and who can donate the Plasma.

Cooperation Minister Govind Gaude inspected a Covid care centre in the new hostel at the Goa Engineering College.

The two new hostel building has been arranged with 166 beds and 54 Covid-19 patients are admitted to this hostel.
