After opposing
and then supporting, minister Milind Naik and his supporters have again said
they don’t want this centre.
While Congress leader Sankalp Amonkar raised questions over this double speak, Milind Naik came public with folded hands, requesting people not to make it a political issue.
And Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane has said only collector can
take a decision.
On Wednesday Urban Development Minister and local MLA
Milind Naik along with his supporters had opposed the quarantine centre at
Mormugao.
They even gheroed Mormugao deputy collector and got
the proposal canceled.
Next day, Mormugao BJP mandal said centre can come up
in future only if there is emergency, but only after convincing the people
living around this building.
