Opening of religious places should be delayed: Michael

Science and Technology Minister Michael Lobo wantss the reopening of religious places to be delayed in view of the Covid-19 cases detection at Vasco's Mangoor Hill. Michael also said that anybody coming from outside the state should not be allowed to stay in slums or in densely populated areas.

The Science and Technology  Minister  has said he will request  Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrao to delay the opening of churches for Sunday Mass for some time.

Recently the ministry of Home Affairs had issued guidelines for reopening of religious places  and malls.
