India reports more than 28,000 covid-19 cases for second day in row

A single day jump of 28,701 covid-19 cases were reported in India. In last 24 hours around 500 deaths were reported and 18850 patients have recovered.

India has reported 8,78,254 covid-19 positive cases till date. And the active cases have crossed 3 lakh mark. 23,174 deaths are reported and more than 5.53 lakh patients have recovered.

 Here are five worst hit coronavirus states. Maharashtra is leading with 2.54 lakh mark of covid-19 cases followed by Tamil Nadu 1.38 lakh, Delhi 1.12 lakh, Gujarat 41,820 and Uttar Pradesh 36,476.

 More than 1 lakh covid-19 cases were reported worldwide in single day. The covid-19 cases have crossed 1.30 crore mark, 5.71 lakh deaths are reported and more than 75 lakhs have recovered.

Here are the five worst hit coronavirus nation. United States is leading with more than 31.63  lakh cases followed by Brazil 18 lakh cases, India is 3rd  worst hit nation with 8.78 lakh cases, Russia 7.27 Lakh cases and Peru with 3.19 lakh cases.
