Covid cases in India reach 19.08 lakh after one day jump of 52,509

India's total coronavirus cases have increased to 19.08 lakhs after a one-day jump of more than 52,000. This is the seventh straight day that India has recorded over 50,000 daily coronavirus cases.

A single day jump of 52,050 covid-19 cases were reported in India. In last 24 hours around 857 deaths were reported and 51,706 patients have recovered.

 India has reported 19,08,254 covid-19 positive cases till date. And the active cases have crossed 5.86 lakh mark. 39,795 deaths are reported and more than 12,82,215 lakh patients have recovered.

Here are five worst hit coronavirus states. Maharashtra is leading with 4.57 lakh mark of covid-19 cases followed by Tamil Nadu 2.68 lakh,  Andhra Pradesh 1.76 lakh, Karnataka 1.45 lakh and Delhi 1.39 lakh. 

 Almost 2 lakh covid-19 cases were reported worldwide in single day. The covid-19 cases have crossed 1.87 crore mark,  7 lakh deaths are reported and more than 1.19 crore have recovered.

Here are the five worst hit coronavirus nation. United States is leading with more than 46.29 lakh cases followed by Brazil 27.33 lakh cases, India is 3rd  worst hit nation with 19.08 lakh cases, Russia 8.61 Lakh cases and South Africa with 5.16 lakh cases.
