The death toll due to coronavirus in Goa is now becoming a serious concern. On Saturday, a 12-year-old boy had succumbed to virus sending chills among Goans and giving the opposition a fresh stick to beat the government. Now on Sunday, Goa reported 9 deaths due to virus related complications. Deceased are hailing from Chorao, Chandor, Mandur, Agassaim, Vasco, Assolda, Valpoi, Thivim and Khareband. This has taken the total death toll to 351.

The ever increasing death toll and most young people succumbing to virus related complications have certainly raised doubts over the covid management.

There were many reports about the lethargy in covid hospitals and lack of beds in covid hospitals. Even, Chief Minister had to admit that patients in GMC had to sleep on floors due lack of beds.

Now the government finally converted South Goa District Hospital into a covid hospital.
