'Check environment before setting up Covid care centre at Cuncolim'

With a Covid care centre being set up at the Cuncolim industrial estate, an environmentalist has raised questions about the safety of the environment at the industrial estate.
He has apprehensions that the environment at the place is polluted. The environmentalist has asked whether it is safe to treat Covid patients in this environment.
Environmentalist Jorson Fernandes has called upon Goa State Pollution Control Board and Directorate of Health Services to look into the matter before a Covid care centre is set up there. A number of pigeons have been found dead at a building in the industrial estate.
