Curfew redefined: Markets to be open for essentials till 11 am, but no mass prayers

The government has redefined the curfew. There is a little respite. Markets will be open from 6 to 11 in the mornings. But only for groceries, milk, bread, fish, meat, vegetable and fruits. No Gudi Padwa celebrations. No Church mass, no namaj in the masjid or prayers in Gurudwara. And not more than 4 passengers in a four wheeler.



Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has issued a fresh list of essential services during the 3 day lockdown. Banks & ATMs as well as Directorate of Accounts will be open, bottled Water & Dairy supply, Community & Public toilets, Veterinary services, Distributors & Wholesalers, Phama industries manufacturing medicines, manufacturing which requires continuous process as well as production of essential commodities.

Chief Minister has also restricted movement of tourist taxis and yellow and black cabs till 31st March except for medical emergencies. Only four passengers would be permitted in private cars. Children and infants not included.
