Mental Health Film Festival to held on sunday, aim caring for the care givers

Creating awareness in mental health is an important activity in today's society.



Creating awareness in mental health is an important activity in today's society.


And entertainment is a powerful medium of education with a mass appeal.


With this objective in mind, the 3rd edition of the Mental Health Film Festival is being held in Panaji on Sunday. This festival aims at caring for the caregivers.


The festival is being organised by the NGO Sangath and the Trimiti Trust of Pune.


This day long festival will focus on caregivers who play a pivotal role in contributing to the rehabilitation and recovery of a patient with mental health issues.


This festival will feature a full length feature film, 'A light Beneath their Feet' and 5 óther short films. The screenings will be followed by panel discussions.


The festival will be held at Macquinez palace, ESG on Sunday starting from 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon.
