Rather than running Sanjivani Sugar factory in loss, sugarcane production can be linked to tourism by developing cottage industry of Goa’s unique and traditional sugarcane products. Veteran journalist Anil Pai also recalls how beautiful were beaches of South Goa before the Tourism Master Plan of 1984.
