The Power Minister said if he cannot provide uninterrupted power supply there will be discount on tariffs.

Nilesh said the power department suffered a loss of 2 crore rupees because of the cyclonic winds on the 1st of October.

He said  electrical cables, transformers , electrical poles, light fixtures , etc were  either  uprooted, broken or damaged causing power failures in several part of Goa.
