Nilesh assures uninterrupted power supply in the next three and half years

But there is a rider: it is going to be quid prop quo, which means the tariffs will go up.
Nilesh was addressing media in his first interaction on Wednesday at the secretariat in Porvorim.
The Power Minister said if he cannot provide uninterrupted power supply there will be discount on tariffs.
Nilesh said the power department suffered a loss of 2 crore rupees because of the cyclonic winds on the 1st of October.
He said electrical cables, transformers , electrical poles, light fixtures , etc were either uprooted, broken or damaged causing power failures in several part of Goa.
He assured to bring power supply to normal within the next two days.
