In a significant stride towards self-reliance in defense technology, Indian Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar unveiled the first indigenous Drishti 10 Starliner Unmanned Aerial Vehicle in Hyderabad.

Manufactured by Adani Defence and Aerospace, the UAV showcases India's prowess in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) technology. The Drishti 10 Starliner boasts advanced features, including a 36-hour endurance and a 450 kg payload capacity. Notably, it is the only all-weather military platform with NATO's STANAG 4671 certification for airworthiness, allowing it to operate in both segregated and unsegregated airspace

Speaking at the event, Director General of Army Aviation, Lieutenant General Ajay Suri, revealed that both the Indian Navy and Indian Army have placed orders for these cutting-edge drones. The Adani Aerospace Park in Hyderabad, where the UAV was manufactured, stands as a world-class facility emphasizing innovation and indigenization

The Adani Aerospace Park, the country's first final assembly line in the private sector for military-grade unmanned systems, contributes significantly to over 70% indigenization. This achievement reflects India's commitment to advancing its defense capabilities and fostering a robust ecosystem for cutting-edge technologies.
