In Malcorne, students sit with umbrellas in the classroom

In Molcornem village of Sanguem taluka,  the students are forced to sit under an umbrella as the roof of the primary school is leaking.

The locals had brought this to the notice of local MLA and the authorities concerned but nothing has been done till date.

 The students studying at this primary school are forced to sit with an umbrella in the classroom as the roof of the school broken.

Locals fear that the roof may collapse anytime.

Some of the locals had even met local MLA Prasad Gaonkar and apprised him of the condition of the school.

He had assured that he with the support of authorities concerned would repair the roof before the start of the academic year but nothing has been done till date.
