No debate on IT Park, ask questions online: Rohan Khaunte

01 Feb 2019 04:54 PM

IT Minister Rohan Khaunte has refused to have a public debate on the issue of the IT park that is supposed to come up at Chimbel.

Instead, he has asked the protesters to submit their queries on the web portal.

Social activist Claude Alvares had challenged Rohan Khaunte to have open debate on IT park with the people and activists.

But Khaunte is not willing. He also asked why no social activist was present during the public interaction on IT park.

He also denies having any role in the burning of trees near Chimbel lake.

Rohan Khaunte has also refuted the allegations made by GPCC president Girish Chodankar that he is responsible for the violence and land grabbing cases in his constituency.

He has challenged Chodankar to prove it or resign from his post.
