Govt to take loan against land to pay back SEZ promoters: Vishwajit

Industries Minister Vishwajit Rane said the government will auction 5 lakh square metre IDC land to pay back the SEZ promoters.
The state government has decided to take back 38 lakh square metre land from SEZ promoters Vishwajit said rules governing Industrial Development Corporation will be amended for its smooth functioning.
He said there should be geo tagging of land belonging to IDC and digitisation of records with timeline for implementation of GIDC activities.
