16th Fuel hike this month, Mumbai rates double of New York

On Tuesday, fuel hiked by 16th time in month of June. Now the fuel rates in Mumbai are double compared to New York after petrol was hiked by 35 paisa and diesel by 28 paisa.



 In New York, petrol costs 57 rupees per litre, in Nepal petrol costs 58.88 rupees per litre while in Mumbai it costs 104.90 rupees per litre while in Goa petrol is 96.35 and diesel 93.91 per litre.  

The increasing trend in fuel rates still continues. Petrol has crossed the century mark in many cities. After the hike on Tuesday, petrol in Delhi reached 98.81 rupees while diesel has reached 89.18 rupees. In Mumbai petrol is alomost 105 rupees and diesel 96.72 rupees per litre.  

 The fuel is continously inflating since 4th May when the assembly elections of West Bengal and other four states ended. Since then petrol has reached 8.40 rupees and diesel 8.47 rupees.

The cities like Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Nashik, Jaislmair, Ganganagar, Hyderabad, Leh, Baswada, Indore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Gawlior, Guntur, Kakinanada, Chickmanglooru, Shivmoda and Chennai has hit centuries in petrol rates.
