Robbers take away Maruti murti in Kudachade

Another case of temple robbery was reported on Friday. And this time at Kudchade. The robbers robbed the Maruti Temple at Kudchade and took away a 20 year old idol from but left the money mostly intact.

The robbers broke into the temple at midnight on Thursday. They entered the temple by breaking the front gate lock and took away the 20 year old Maruti Murti and some chiller.

On Friday morning when the temple priest reached the temple he saw the gate lock broken and gate open. He immediately alerted the villagers and informed the police.

The police forensic team and dog squad are part of the investigations. The temple priest Ajay Patil spoke to Goa 365 about  the robbery.
