Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has spelt out his rough policy on casinos.

It will create an entertainment zone and offshore casinos will be shifted on the land in the next three years.

Casino vessels will seize to exist. And no Goan would be allowed on a casino. Only tourists.

Parrikar as promised spelt out the policy of casinos he wants to bring in.

He is amending the act by the next Assembly session.

Goans would be stopped from gambling on casinos soon after that.

And for the next three years, Mandovi river would be restricted only for five casinos. Not the sixth casino.

And gaming commissioner would be appointed soon after the act comes in force.

Chief minister Manohar Parrikar said that he would get an assurance from the civil aviation ministry that Dabolim will not be closed.

The chief minister also said that there was no chance that the Dabolim airport would be closed out of sheer necessity than anything.

The chief minister replying to demands on Mopa and Dabolim airport also said that the Mopa tender document was the only one in the country that says that both Mopa and Dabolim will exist.

Parrikar also said that the parking for Dabolim airport for the current capacity would be done within a year and a 6 lane highway would be ready before the Mopa airport came up.
