Felicitation programs all over the state on Independence day

The Navelim Panchayat felicitated five panchayat members and 2 meritorious students. While in Vasco the Mormugao Municipal Council felicitated all former Chairpersons of the Council for their contributions

While in Vasco the Mormugao Municipal Council felicitated all former Chairpersons of the Council for their contributions for the port town of Vasco.

 The five panchayat staff were felicitated by ZP  member   Edwin Cardoz. Two students from Navelim who excelled in the 10th standard were also felicitated.

Some young students sang patriotic songs bringing colour to the function. Also present were Navelim sarpanch Wilma Cardozo,  deputy sarpanch,  and locals. 

 Mormugao Municipal Council felicitated all former Chairpersons of the Council for their contributions for the port town of Vasco.

They all were felicitated at the hands of South Goa MP Narendra Savoikar. Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida suggested council should form a team of former councillors and to take their suggestions while taking up developmental projects in the Port town of Vasco.

He requested the ex-chairperson to support the development under municipal jurisdictions.
