While the authorities are boasting of developing high-quality educational infrastructure in the state, there is a school building in Goa, more than 30-year-old and not repaired even once in all these years.

Yes, it exists in the rural village of Gaondongri in Cancon.

School management along with the Parents Teachers Association both have demanded immediate repairs of the premises.

This is how one is welcomed at the school which looks more of a haunted place because of the dilapidated state of this building in Gaodongri.

The tiled roof is in a totally bad condition. See this, how the damaged roof is held on support of a wooden stick so thin that it can break any moment.

The tiles on the roof are damaged all over the place from outside as well as inside.

This is the condition of the wall and this is the leaked water. Not leaking from the damaged roof but also from the damaged taps.

Condition of the toilets is even worse. This is the broken part of the school stage.

Students do not have proper playground facility and thes are the broken bats with which they play every day.
