Francis also targeted national heroes: Gandhi to Lohia & Shivaji to Abe Faria

Francis Pereira was not only targeting the religious shrines, but also the statues of national heroes. He had earlier damaged some statues.
And now had plans to damage statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Ram Manohar Lohia, Chatrapati Shivaji and Abe de Faria.
Francis has till now shown total 139 sites he desecrated since 2003. It not only included roadside religious shrines but also chapels and small temples.
Besides this, he also said he had damaged statues of Bhagwan Mahavir at Campal in Panaji as well as Mollem.
And also the Cabo de Rama chapel in 2003. Our reporter Ramesh Naik Raut got these details.
