Road portion washed away, work quality questioned

A portion of newly constructed highway road at Amere, Pernem collapsed on Monday. Earlier too the newly built retaining wall had collapsed, which was later rebuilt.



Heavy rain witnessed in the past few days exposed the shoddy work on the road, washing  away the portion of the road near the Rail Bridge in North Goa.

This road was recently rebuilt, but within one month of monsoon resulted in washing ways portion of the road. Locals have began to question the quality and safety of these roads.
