Chicalim: Fire in a flat due to short circuit

Pre-monsoon showers may have brought some respite in terms of the weather but it has surely caused damage to electrical appliances.
In Chicalim, a short circuit in the air conditioner resulted in a major fire.
Fortunately, no-one was injured.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon. The tragedy was averted as the fire brigade reached the spot on time.
The estimated loss to the property was reported to close to a lakh
