The picturesque state of Goa has been grappling with a troubling trend of accidents in recent times, and the worrying pattern shows no signs of slowing down. The latest incident occurred on Monday night in Nanoda, where a collision between a car and a bike resulted in injuries, further adding to the concerning statistics

According to reports, the car was traveling from Kasarpal when the bike, coming from the opposite direction, swerved onto the wrong side and collided with the car. In an attempt to avoid the biker, the car driver lost control, ultimately crashing into a valley. While the car driver sustained injuries, the biker suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Goa Medical College for treatment. Here’s our reporter Mahesh Govekar with more on this.
