Sanguem water tank irreparably damaged in landslide

The Selaulim water treatment plant clarifloculator water tanks has got irreparably damaged due to a landslide. To construct a new one it will take at least one year. However, this will not affect water supply to South Goa.

The Selaulim water treatment plant has 4 such tanks. These tanks were constructed some 30 years back.

Due to the landslide the area surrounding the tank was damaged. Also water from the tank leaded resulting in the mud from around the tank getting washed away.
