Explosion reported at Bar & Restaurant in Mapusa, Cylinder blast ruled out

While the cause of the explosion is not known yet, the owner of the Bar & Restaurant has suspected foul play. The event did not result in any injuries. However, the loss is believed to be more than Rs 40 lakh

The incident occurred at around 6.30 am today morning. Fire fighters who reached the spot at around 7 am found a small portion of the Bar & Restaurant on fire. However, a Cylinder blast was ruled out after firefighters found both cylinders present inside the restaurant The fridge and 2 cold storages inside were also intact, they further informed.
