National Games delay: Cong wants sports minister’s head

 It said that the infrastructure is not going to be ready even if the games are hosted in 2019.

The Congress party has also criticized the government for excluding four disciplines - cycling, shooting, kayaking and canoeing from the games.

National Games was scheduled to be held from the 4^th to the 18^th of November 2018.

But the Goa government wants to organized the games in February 2019 because they would not be able to complete all the infrastructure requirements for the games. It also wants to exclude some of the disciplines from the schedule.
