Herald lifts inter media trophy

Herald lifted inter-media football trophy beating Prudent media by 4 goals. Alan D' Cruz scored a hat trick. Later on in an exhibition match GFDC defeated GUJ by 2 goals to 1. Allan DfCruz scored a hat trick. Anil Kalekar was the other scorer.

The chief guest was Ports Minister Michael Lobo and Guest of Honour was GFDC MS, Alexio D'Costa.   Individual prizes were awarded in the various categories. Best Goalkeeper: Jose Fernandes (Herald Publication), Best Defender: Rajesh Naik (Prudent Media), Best Midfielder: Saideep Kadam (Prudent Media), Best Forward: Minguel Carvalho (Herald Publication). Outstanding Player of the Final went to Allan D’Cruz.   The match was well controlled by Sunil, Roshan and Vivek.

 After the finals, a freindly match was held between Goa Union of Journalist and GFDC. GFDC defeated GUJ by scoring 2-1 goals. Shashank Ashvekar and Frenklin Roco played important role for GFDC victory. While, Kishore Kamat score one goal for GUJ.
