Bishworijit Singh Saikon, Top finisher of Ironman 70.3

Bishworijit Singh Saikhon nails his name in the top finishers at the 1st ever Ironman 70.3 to be held in India and Goa race. Singh defeated over 1000 participants from 27 countries will who took part in the race.



 IRONMAN which started with a single event in 1978 has grown to become a global sensation with more than 230 events across 53 countries. Considered the toughest endurance challenge anyone can undertake in a single day.

Ironman involves swimming 3.8 km in open water, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running ( total 226 kms) all done sequentially. The IRONMAN 70.3 event is half this distance.


IRONMAN 70.3 Goa which has seen participants swim 1.9km, cycle 90km and run 21.1km among Indian triathletes and has over 800 Indian participants who had registered from Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Goa and other cities. 


One of the frontrunners among Indian triathletes at IRONMAN races globally is Deepak Raj (42), who has completed 20 IRONMAN Full Distance Triathlons

between 2008 and 2017. 


An IT professional turned fitness enthusiast who represented India at the IRONMAN World Championships in 2017, Raj is also the co-founder of Yoska- a fit-tech company based out of Bengaluru that has been responsible for bringing this event to India.
