Goans opting for Portuguese passport featuring in the SSC English paper has generated a controversy.

In one of the questions of the language paper it says that Goans opt for Portuguese passport as it is difficult to get jobs in the state.

BJP has reacted sharply to the attack on its government and demanded that the Goa Board should immediately act against paper setters, coordinators and scrutinizers.

Class 10th students answered their English paper on Saturday. In one of the questions, there was a dialogue between two persons that had to be converted into indirect speech.

The dialogue between the two friends goes as follows: Rayson to Kedan: What are your future plans my friend? Kedan replies: I have applied for a Portuguese passport as there are few job opportunities in Goa.

Then Rayson replies: You have taken the right decision. Without influence and money, it's very difficult for Goans to get jobs in Goa. Watch.
