Goa Police have advised public not to reveal any sensitive personal data over phone or message.

Police say fraudsters are making calls during the pandemic-related lockdown claiming that they represent banks or reputed companies.

They lure unsuspecting persons into divulging sensitive data such as ATM PINs, or OTPs.

Police say the fraudsters do so by offering to extend EMI date of loans, expiry dates of cards.

They also seek donations for causes related to Covid-19.
