People reiterate their opposition to doubling of railway tracks

Re-survey of railway tracks in Cansaulim village was cancelled again on Tuesday for the second consecutive time.
People from all over Goa, including politicians, activists and villagers stopped the Railwayofficials from carrying out the survey opposing the double tracking of railway line.
Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha has now said that she will take up the issue yet again to the CM Dr Pramod Sawant.
AAP Leader Elvis Gomes , Congress MLA Aleixo Reginald Lourenco were also present on the occasion.
People gathered in large numbers to oppose the inspection.
