Pay parking begins in Panaji, pass system introdued

Finally, pay parking started on the main roads of Panaji from Saturday. And the CCP has also introduced monthly pass system, besides four hourly payment. The monthly passes would be for one month, quarterly as well as yearly. Each one would be get an electronic receipt.

On selective roads, you have to now pay 20 rupees for four wheelers for the first 4 hours and then 15 rupees for 4 hours each.

 

And for two wheelers, the charge is 4 rupees for four hours each.

 

In addition, the CCP has also introduced pass system for those who park every day.

 

For four wheelers, it would be 2000 rupees per month, 5240 rupees for three months and 18,000 for a year.

 

And for two wheelers, it’s 175 rupees per month, 480 rupees for 3 months and 1800 rupess for year.
