Install Solar system, Govt will give 50% subsidy: Power Min

Its time to save energy. Start installing Solar System at your homes and premises. The government will give 50% subsidy. This is what the Power Minister Nilesh Cabral said on Friday. The Power minister also wanted locals to put up coal based plants to mitigate the electricity issue faced by the state.

The minister announced that the subsidy will be applicable from end of February before the Code of Conduct.

Nilesh stressed that people should stop opposing to installation of poles and transformers if they want uninterrupted 24X7 power supply.
