Domingo Goes, a physically disabled resident of Velsao finally regained his traditional motorable access road today which had been blocked off nearly 3 years.
The path which was blocked off using laterite stones was finally cleared under police protection under the orders of the Deputy Collector from Mormugao. Here’s our reporter Hiru Mahale with further details.
Disability rights group – DRAG’s president Avelino De sa who had been supporting Domingo in his fight to regain access, explained what exactly the issue was and how it was resolved.
