Calangutkars demand action against guides involved in drugs & sex rackets

And some tourists guides learnt to be working as pimps and agents for these illegal activities.

If asked, police give their standard reply: We will take strict action if any such activity comes to our notice.

The Calangute locals say that lots of unauthorized tourist guides and touts are seen moving in the coastal belt.

They are the ones who supply drugs and sex works to the customers in the hotels, night clubs, restaurants and even where water sports activities are going on.

They stand on streets and busy junctions to attract the customers.
