Vivekanand birth anniversary observed

 Today’s youth shu0ld place Swami Vivekanand’s challenges before their eyes so as to get proper direction in life. This was chief minister’s advice to the youth.

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was addressing the gathering after unveiling the portrait  of Swami Vivekananda at the Legislative Assembly on Friday. Swami Vivekananda was born Narendranath Datta. He was  a major force in the revival of Hinduism in India, and contributed to the concept of nationalism in colonial India.

  In Ponda, GVM’s Pragati Vidyalaya took out a rally to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Many students and teachers took part in the rally.

  In Vasco Bharatiya Janata Party organized a blood donation camp to mark Swami Vivekanand’s birth anniversary.
