Self-help groups to operate 4 more mobile fish vans

Fisheries Minister Vinod Palyekar inaugurated five new mobile fish stall vans. Earlier only four vehicles were roaming in various talukas. As per the assurance given in the assembly session to give fresh fish to Goans, additional four mobile vans are made available.

Earlier, mobile fish vans were servicing Mapusa, Mormugao, Cancona and Naveli citizens.

Fisheries Minister Vinod Palyekar announced that the additional four vehicles would be allotted to self help groups after scrutinizing applications.
