People go beyond blood relations to celebrate Raksha Bandhan

Coronavirus has brought about many changes in human lifestyle. Among them, one was observed during Raksha Bandhan.



People went beyond blood relations and tied Rakhis to neighbours.


A different type of bonds were witnessed during the Raksha Bandhan celebrations on Monday.


Various types of social dimensions were seen during Raksha Bandhan amid testing times of coronavirus.


As a brother is far away or in another state, a sister tied Rakhis to a nextdoor neighbour considering him a brother, say some sisters.


While some shop owners displayed their patriotism stating that they won't tie China-made Rakhis and won't sell them either.


BJP Mahil Morcha karyakartas tied Rakhis to staff of Pernem Police sation and Traffic Cell.


Coronavirus is hovering over the Raksha Bandhan celebration. So, people celebrated Raksha Bandhan in house.


Shiroda BJP Mahil Morcha under the leadership of Shiroda MLA Subhash Shirodkar tied Rakhis to doctors, nurses and staff serving the patients in covid care centres.
